(Back in the day. Me and Amber in Vegas on St. Patrick's Day circa 2003. We stole the giant 70's glasses and Las Vegas visor from an unsuspecting guy and decided to wear them for the remainder of the evening (this was WAY before giant 70's glasses came roaring back into style). We thought we were hilarious. Obviously.)
Next month I'm headed to Vegas to visit my best gal. I AM SO EXCITED. We're planning a road trip to Joshua Tree as a last hurrah before her little cutie arrives in the Fall. Neither of us have been, but we've decided it's the best place to get back in touch with our inner hippie (suppressed since high school), scour vintage shops, listen to live music, and forget about being adults for a few days. (In case you're wondering why we're leaving Vegas to have fun, we went to UNLV together so Vegas is kinda old hat to us.) There are very few people that I have as much fun with and even though this trip will be tamer than previous ones, it will most definitely still be an adventure.
